The bearing under the main (upper) spring works only under compression which is the normal running. The only concern for the lower bearing is perhaps the stamping of the balls on the tracks due to the fact that the bearing has two states: free with a lot of play and compression.

ETA: In any case don't think the shock loads will be too severe given this bearing is working with both sprung and damped components.
