The reality should be better than that..
Your dealer will be told when your body is about to go on the built up chassis so if you wish you can visit the factory and see your car whilst getting a free factory tour plus chat to the builder who might be persuaded to apply his signature.
not so easy if you are a few thousand miles away though!
