Very excited for my car, can't believe I ordered it on the 28th of August and already it's the 1st of Dec. Hopefully not too many delays, but I requested a week 7 build week, so even if it's two months still way ahead of summer here in Chicago (and the added extra time to ease my wallet is nice, too!).
Have been reading the parts manual quite a bit and watching endless youtube videos to tide me over in the mean time! (and maybe an occasional ride in my E-Type!!).

Maybe you should consider asking for the order to be pushed back to week 14. If the UK ends up doing a no deal Brexit, you'll most probably get an extra 25% off thanks to a plummeting exchange rate.....
Fascinating post. It's an exciting time to be ordering a Morgan and the markets might already be working to my favor.
Terms of business at least with my dealer are as follows. A small non-refundable deposit required to place the orer. Then, 'approximate' (pro-forma) price is determined as of date of order. Based off of the options I picked and a $1.30 exchange rate the day I ordered, the approx total for my M3W came out to about $55,7k USD.
I won't know the 'real' price until body is built at which time the price is calculated off of that day's exchange rate. I suspect GBP will continue to be volatile.
Undoubtedly Brexit is working to any Morgan buyer's advantage already but sounds like the end of March could give an even better discount. I might already be pushed into that build week territory if there are delays.
Perhaps it is in fact worth a quick chat with my dealer to push it back a bit. Hard to predict what kind of savings I'll really enjoy but worth a conversation I think.
