The GTN price when new was £72,500. Don't know the price of the S1 at the time. However, in the original EVO article at launch it mentioned a £17,000 price hike putting a stock S1 at around £55,500.

One of the biggest differences I have noticed between the GTN and the other models is it seems to just drive really nicely and feel better assembled. I was told that the 11 cars were built separately to all other Aero's but don't know if that is accurate as it was said the GT was built separately as well but I saw them all on the normal run through the factory.

GTN #1 has the wide body as far as I'm aware.

Chassis numbers of the cars are:
G0273 UK Dealer, RTCC RHD
G0274 Factory Car which originally had reg V8GTN RHD
G0275 I know this car, it is LHD
G0276 Factory car VX53 KTJ-Top Gear featured car RHD
G0277 Belgian Dealer, Garage Albert LHD
G0278 Italian Dealer, Borghi Auto LHD
G0284 German Dealer, Morgan Park LHD
G0285 German Dealer, Flaving LHD
G0289 UK Dealer, Libra Motive RHD
G0291 Reserved don't know if LHD or RHD
G0292 UK Dealer, Rutter RHD

So 5 definite RHD cars and 5 definite LHD plus one unknown

In the paperwork I have with the car it is called Morgan Aero 8 GTN/Cup Sport Replica.

Differences from standard car listed as:

4.6 litre V8 producing approx. 330 bhp
Tuned sports exhaust, side-exit
Carbon-fibre hard top
Carbon-fibre dashboard and trim inserts
Le Mans racecar colour scheme
Black perforated leather upholstery
Centre-locking race wheels (not all were black, some were silver, maybe factory had spare silvers knocking around).
