Agree with the others, specially about making the total driving experience a positive one. Nice weather, scenic road, not too much traffic around, warm clothes (very important!), not too long drives, leisurely pace, pauses now and then, good lunch. Yes, getting in and out is a bit quirky, but you get used too it. A little trick is too push the seats as far back as possible on beforehand, then put them in the desired position once you are in, and of course reverse when you get out. I do this all the time in spite of being quite agile. The ride is, as others have pointed out not so bad, no need for aditional cushioning for that reason. However, the shape of the seats are a bit "old school" and less comfortable and supportive compared to a modern car. Thus, a little extra lumbar support could be convenient. Good luck!
