If you are in the SW then try to hire the Williams +4 that has SSL front and rear suspension. This gives a more compliant ride without taking away the pleasures of driving a Morgan.

As an added bonus you have the whole of the Cotswolds to the North and some superb driving roads. High tea at Highcliffe would be a memorable experience.

PS My wife also has arthritis (but the rheumatoid variety) and she manages to get in and out with the hood up or down. It is just a question of practice and a certain amount of patience. As Robbie said , push the seats right back before starting and be prepared for her to use all sorts of places to steady herself.
