1. The brackets are prevented from spinning around the axle by the lumps underneath of the axle that sit on the leaf spring.
2. The brackets can not move fore and aft as the 10mm bolts are tangential to the axle tube.
3. The brackets can not move sideways as the 10mm through bolts touch either side of the lump underneath the axle.
