Went to the car meet today and realised from the quick flashing dash lamp that one of my indicators wasn’t working
After investigation when I got home it turns out it’s the front indicator fitting itself not the lamp
I’ve tried lots of fiddles and sprayed it with contact cleaner and cleaned some tarnishing to the inside with cotton wool buds but to no avail
The lamp starts working when I push it in as far as it will go into the fitting but then when I release it to turn it to locate it it stops working and it won’t stay pushed all the way back
Before I spend £30 on a new fitting and an annoying hour fitting it, has anyone had the same issue and is there something that I’ve not thought of to solve the problem?
