Did anyone hear Champagne Charlie on 'The World at One' today? An absolutely first-class performance explaining the reasons why MMC are performing well in the current world economic climate and a stirring rallying call to all those in the manufacturing sector of the economy. While it was slanted very much towards the West Midlands it applies equally country-wide. This piece should be played every day in all boardrooms and shop-floors across the region and the nation.
