Has anybody else noticed that "period" films made recently all seem to feature spotless period cars. Totally unrealistic, clearly supplied by fastidious owners. Shame we don't see many oily rag jobs
I’ve met a few classic car owners that regularly lend their cars out to film companies for period work - there are agencies that specialise in this sort of thing
It’s quite good money and the owners get to stay on set and sometimes drive their cars although a few have said when you’ve done it once it gets a bit boring with a lot of waiting around
