True the warranty doesn't mean as much in the USA unless you are one of the fortunate few that live close to a dealer. My closest two dealers are 1100 and 1200 miles away respectively.
Enforcement for smog compliance is not uniform either. Some areas do nothing to enforce it while other areas are draconian. Have to be careful where you travel if you are modified.
Wish Morgan and S&S would work out some power modifications that were compliant like the car manufacturers have. You can get some autos over here now that put out massive amounts of power without smog problems.
