Tyre choice is important too. The oem tyres on the 18's were atrocious. Have Conti-Sports on now and coupled with all the hardware changes a big improvement in the ride.
The GT seems to have gone the adjustable suspension route but stuck with the same ARB's. Don't know what damping and spring rates they have though. The key points on ARB's in the analysis on mine was the rear ARB was far too stiff and the front ARB not stiff enough.
