... To date the following has been required on the car:
1. O ring fitted to bevel box - it was missing from new
2. Rusting bright pack cowl replaced
3. Badly scratched new exhaust replaced
4. Drive sprocket replaced (belt retaining flange coming off)
5. Cambelt tensioner pulley broke (French autoroute recovery)
6. Paintwork blistering around indicator stalks and rollover hoops
7. New wheelhub fitted (supersession part which increases gap between drive belt and tyre by about 4mm)
8. Petrol pump failure?? (as I write car is on recovery vehicle to garage after losing all power at busy junction: awaiting my diagnosis to be confirmed)
My head screams "Sell and run"...
If you were referring to shares in Morgan Car Co then I think the answer would be YES! The costs of aftercare / warranty support must be eye-watering!
