That may have been true a year or so back.

However having just checked on Pistonheads, Autotrader and MMC, there is no M3W listed in the UK at less than I paid for my Nov 2013 car. So my depreciation has been nil over 5 years smile

If you want a new car and plan to keep it in the UK or outside of the EU then I'd suggest you move quickly to snap up an EU3 whilst MMC can still get them through IVA.

I think the hardening of the Three Wheeler market is more down to the interest that the dealers are taking in it and that market is self sustaining as one dealer will look at the retail price others are offering their stock for and price up accordingly.

I cannot see that 2012/13/14 cars are ever worth more than the £30k that dealers routinely ask, even with the miserable 3 months warranty they put on it. I would guess that the buy in price is more likely to be in the low £20k's, which should be the price to buy one privately, if one could be found.

As far as worrying about finding a nearby dealer, frankly they are just meccano kits and any competent spanner twirler should be able to fix them, spares on the other hand will have to come from Malvern.
