I have run with various different cases/bags over the years.
If I still had bikes I might have considered converting pannier mountings to fit.
Yes, I have used a 35l Givi pannier on a couple of tours. Also a massive 75l Samsonite ABS case when away with 'er indoors. Both work well but restrict rearward vision a bit. Current favourite when away on my own is a 24l Peli Storm case on the rack and a Morgan leather holdall in the passenger footwell.
