What iPhone model do you have? I ask because many of the mounts are now starting to offer the Qi wireless charging that saves the cable being plugged in if you are using bluetooth to the head unit?
Stewart’s is the best if you can screw it in. There are also longer versions that can mount to the seat mechanism but that can be way out of sight for tapping send/end.
If not then a phone cover with a magnetic label and one of the ball mounts to a flat vertical surface is good. I used this from the coupes windscreen for our EU trip and it never got away. If you don’t have wireless charging the cover is fine.
