I live in the US south and the summer heat (often 95F or higher) overwhelms the AC capability on my 2005 Roadster. Does anyone have experience in modifications to improve the AC system's performance? I notice there is some factory installed insulation around the airbox just forward of the firewall. I am considering adding an additional layer of insulation over the top of the factory insulation. The thought is that by doubling the insulation thickness the air in the airbox will stay cooler on its way to the cockpit.
Any thoughts about this modification or any other possible fixes is appreciated
