Thanks Guys, and I really do agree with everything that has been said! I may regret selling it, but also have a couple of non-Mog's up for sale as I need to re-jig tHings a bit. Simon, and Bosher's, have advised against it and given me excellent advice and whilst no doubt it is a thing of beauty, I feel it is time to move on - in any case it needs an MOT now.
Asbo you are quite right too, times are hard; money's short (as ever!) and thus as much as I would love that notorious Series II as a track car, the 3W will have to substitute for that...
Lastly the price? It is hopefully priced to sell and as Cicerone kindly says it is a much nicer car than the Hamsters and I agree, as someone once also famously said "Well he would say that wouldn't he?" but having taken the decision to sell I would prefer if it doesn't stick around
