Has anyone on here fitted the Avon CR6ZZ Tyres to their 4/4 with the OEM 5 inch wide rims?
If so, what size please... I can only see 185/70/15's as available...?
Any thoughts about comparison with the Avons to the Vredestein?

I can only tell you what will add to your confusion. My 2012 4/4 Anniversary came with 185/70 Avons. I never liked them because they were very twitchy in the wet. Worse than any other tyre I've experienced.
I replaced them with Vredestein and it was chalk and cheese. The Vredesteins were so good that I tried to get some for my new build in 2016, but they were temporarily unobtainable.
So I went for Blockleys, but they touched the upper spring mounting.
So I had to have the Avons...... but this time its a very different experience. They are superb in the wet. The only difference visually is that now the centre tread groove is zigzag. The earlier Avons were straight. But there are also three compounds available for the Avons, and I suspect this may be why.
