No, it's the same thing in the UK, and if it had weighed in at less than 400kg it would be the same here in Denmark. Here in Denmark it would (assuming it had been lower in weight) it would have been registred as a "cabin scooter", hence no rules about crashtests, airbags or anything of the sort. It's like a motorcycle, only you could be driving it with a car license (the two wheels up front makes that possible around here).

Edit: Sorry, I didn't mean to say it wasn't an idea to ask the question or to say it wasn't confusing. It is, my "no" was relating to the US-remark.
I too found it confusing. Hell, I didn't even understand the word and had to look it up in a dictionary.
