I’m astonished.
In 5 years of Morgan ownership in France I encountered nothing but friendly response. I left my car open and unlocked all over the place.
I’ve heard of this sort of thing with « flashy » cars: my old business associate had his Mercedes 350 sl vandalised 7 times in 3 years, in the 7th arrondissement (one of the nicest parts of town). He got rid of it because it took all the pleasure out of ownership. He the bought an Aston V8 (récent variety) as he never learns from his mistakes. He was insulted and spat in while driving it.
Les gilets jaunes have unleashed a whole load of crazy Dermot here. I suspect this is not unrelated.
