Well I have an opposing view. The armourfend that I had applied to my car 3 years ago, still looks great, hasn't yellowed and doesn't look grubby around the edges (try cleaning it with a cotton bud). I have used it on 3 cars now in the past 6 years and have never regretted it. I wouldn't bother on an SUV, but on a lower down sporting car it makes sense.
