As has been said above, lubricate. However if there is a bit of a gap between the headrest post and the chrome surround on the seat, lubrication alone might not be enough. I have slid a part of a cable tie between the post and the seat surround. Experimentation with the size needed might be necessary. Any excess length can be cut off to hide the remains under the headrest while leaving enough to extract it if necessary.
