There is no rational basis to buy one of these. Get over it. If you are locked onto this idea then just move on and order a Tesla or a Prius or something like that. This is about fun.
If that is not in your outlook then give it up.
I continue to throw money, fuel and heartbreak at this ridiculous beast of a car that is a terrible s*%t to drive in the wet yet, still, makes me smile...
Yep, it's not about practical, its about fun.
And yes, they will be legislated into extinction. The only thing that might save the Three Wheeler is an all electric model, and that is defeating half of the fun!!
