I could move/change the resonance point just by slackening off the L shaped exhaust support bracket and applying a little upwards force under the bracket with a trolley jack so an easy check before swapping boxes.
I thought that it was a dual mass but couldn’t say for sure. One thing that can get noisy towards the front and near the chain area is the belt tensioner bearing.
