I've not used Dynamat so couldn't comment.

I saw a review of Silent Coat on another forum and it seemed a reasonable price for the 4mm sheet. Easy to cut (I used a cheap pair of tin snips and a stanley knife) and straightforward to apply.

One thing I didn't want was anything too thick as I need evey bit of seat space.
