Being hand built, it isn't unreasonable to expect a few minor niggles during the break-in period. However, this is mediated greatly by the prep the dealer does. I assume you are buying from RPM? If so, Russell knows the classics well and does a through prep - this should minimise any issues you have.

The biggest thing to remember is when they build the car and screw it all together (for want of a better word!) it is static. While they take it for a short test drive to ensure all is working as it should, they don't put 500 - 1,000 miles on the clock! During the first 1,000 miles the car will loosen up (vibration, pot holes, transmission flex, engine vibration, etc) and the during the first break-in service the mechanic will tighten up all the bolts, screws parts that will have slackened off. This will make a big difference.
