I would think it is most probably the fuel getting too hot and vaporising. Is the return to the tank working correctly? Is it quick enough to prevent excessive heating?
If not that then is air getting in post carb when hot? I’m thinking a gasket failing.
Have you considered if the ignition coil is failing when it is getting hot?
