The clues are indeed there but for a $60,000 machine you would expect a proper wiring diagram.
To add insult to injury the sizing of the wires themselves is minimal. If an owner is adding current draw to the existing circuitry they must take into consideration the possibility of overloading a circuit. By running extra conductors front to rear of the machine then it is possible to use existing circuits for triggers on relays for the extra load created by whatever you are adding.
In my case I have added a lot of extra lighting so why not add conductors capable of carrying that extra current? The English have never been known for solid, reliable, electrical automotive systems, hence the phrase “Lucas, Prince of Darkness”. That has been around for decades and an entity I have experienced first hand on many occasions, even on brand new vehicles.
MMC electrical systems on the 3 Wheeler are pretty unique in their execution of standard automotive practices. My Triumph or my Austin Healey or Hilman or MGA products were bet , and that is really saying something. It would be interesting to turn the machine over to a group of Honda engineers to see how they would produce the wiring.
