Looking back on this thread, I see a reference to dry-lube. Whilst that may be ok for bike chains (to minimise throw-off onto back tyre) I don’t think it would be as good on leaf springs where the lubricant has to penetrate far further between the leaves. Wet stuff is better for this.
Other thoughts: Also give shackle pins at rear some lube; Oil wing beading with acf or 3-in-1.
