Are there better alternate cylinders available from a different manufacturer?
The problem with these cylinders is corrosion. If you peel back the rubber gaitor and smear a little 'Red Rubber' grease around the bore then the cylinder will probably last indefinately.
If the cylinder is too far gone, you can have it reworked with a stainless steel liner but this will cost significantly more than replacing it with a new item.
