I have used a heated vest so far. Now I'm upgrading to a heated jacket (Keis) because I also want warm arms (without side windows my left arm [LHD] always gets unpleasantly cold).
The wiring is simple because the battery is just behind the seats.


I concur with the Keis kit - I've used it for winter riding for many years. Just remember to unplug before moving!

I've got a portable Keis battery pack which fits into it's own pocket on the inside of the vest. Very useful if standing out in the cold for hours at a time.
