I have not looked at the fuel clamps on my M3W so I am not clear what are being referred to as crimp on clamps. In settings like PEX water lines crimp on clamps are used all the time and do not fail.

Are these failing because they are cutting through the hoses? Or, are they failing because they are poor quality fittings.

I had Otiker clamps on the oil lines on my previous HD and never had problems.
