Taffmog is correct, the early Plus 8 had the alloys then the Millrace style alloys because people were sceptical about wires handling the loads, but with the Cobra type wires people relaxed a bit . Later plus eights till the end could come with a few options -Original pattern type alloys, wires or the expensive Morgan centrelock alloys.
