Respect due to you JMD for changing the master cylinder in situ - it certainly beat me! Yes, I reckon that it's actually quicker to drain everything and remove the entire pedal box than mess around 'down the hole'. Plus you get to change all your hydraulic fluids at the same time (which I'm guessing most of us don't do as often as we should). oldgit
