I would refer you to my post on the second page of this thread.
The reason a Duratec engined Plus 4 sags to the RHS Is because the car is about 60lbs heavier on the RHS.
Peter Ballard and I proved this a few years ago with my 2011 Plus 4 4 seater.
Fitting an identical pair of rear springs is a WASTE OF MONEY as they physically cannot compensate for the off set mass of the vehicle.
Of course as the springs age the amount of sag, particularly on springs made of poor quality steel, will increase and lead to bottoming on the diff. and on speed humps etc.
What is required is a pair of springs of the same rate but with a greater starting camber for the RHS one.
MMC should have picked up this problem years ago and provided springs to suit, instead, I guess, of just buying from the cheapest supplier.
Fitting the springs isn’t technically difficult as stated above, it’s just a bit physical and a second person may be needed force down the front end of the RHS spring. I knocked up a very simple lever arm along the lines of those on GOMOG and shown on here in other posts. If I remember correctly the springs were about £300 inc vat from SSL, but do get a quote.
Hope this helps.
