I bet people thought that about Pan Am. I was on Pan Am Flight 103 just a couple of weeks before the Lockerbie disaster. I remember being shocked at the appalling condition of the aircraft for what was the American Flag airline. Lockerbie probably just brought the thing to an end.

Tesla, despite expectations, seems to be doing quite well.

The one I wish I had bought shares in is Amazon 10 years ago.
