Almost exactly the same as my experience with a 2003 Plus 8, the fan is on a lot when ambient temp above 25C and in traffic but the coolant temp stays 100-110C and the expansion tank has only been topped up a little once in 5 years. That said, I always raise the bonnet on the battery side immediately after a "good thrash" so the battery doesn't cook on hot days.
