I have a 1980 Morgan which started out life as a 4/4 with a 1600 crossflow Ford engine with 4-speed gearbox. When I acquired it the car had been fitted with an early 1980's Fiat 2 litre twin cam engine (with carburettor rather than the Morgan fitment of fuel injection) with it's 5-speed box.

So, my question is, can I call it a +4?

Is the car dimensionally the same as a +4 of that era? Are there any other factors that distinguish a +4 from a 4/4?
