Yes, I am aware of the need to tuck the rubber's in and clip the stud and have driven about 200 miles with the roof up correctleyy tucked in. My questions are about whether the curling requires repairing or replacing.

When you drove the 200 miles with the rubber correctly "tucked in" did you have a seal to your satisfaction? If you did then the curly rubber does not need repair/replacing, if you didn't and the screens were on correctly then you probably need to repair or replace the curly rubbers.
