Easier to just add bump stops on your dampers, where they are supposed to be. A few quid each.
Either remove the top eye to slip them on or split the bump stop and push over the rod and secure with self amalgamating tape, std practice.
Use a stack of soft bump stops to give spring rate progression, like we do on the Morgan race cars.
