Suggest you use e bay or the web to look then for the K&N part number. It should lead you back to the original.
The airbox should be the same so then I wonder at your comment "It can't be a Morgan special as the housing doesn't fit properly and rubs on the bonnet. Then again..... ;-)"
I wold imagine it is the original morgan part.
