Yesterday, I went to a petrol station, for a new attempt to fill the tank. With a long cocktail spoon, I held the little spring loaded lid open, while pouring the fuel from above into the now open filling hole.
For an outside person, the procedure might look a bit weirded, especially, when you have to hold the hose between your knees, so is stays in place. But hey… at least, I managed to top up, within a reasonable time
