Met him at Prescott at a charity event. I was admiring a Cooper-Bristol and chatting to the owner when he stopped to look at the car and joined in. He described how he raced one. Also had a quick chat with Lady Moss in the bar. Equally wonderful lady. Both had time for others.
There are not many true legends but he is at the top.
