I‘m just returning from a shop where I left 2 mechanical watches for a 10 year’s service.
Similar cost range like for my Morgan annual service.

I am not sure any more if this is a true necessity, especially at that price range. I have a more than 100 years old IWC Savonette, once purchased by my grand-grandfather that has not seen a service for at least 50 years and still runs perfect.
