Know what you mean about watches ...I don't have the lifestyle for watch wearing .... it would be wrecked in minutes.... that's my only ever watch and it was a 'tool of the trade' when I was gliding (with no engine theres no power for an onboard clock so a watch was a must) .... wore it to fly and put it away til the next time....not been worn since I gave up.
Fascinating to find out more about it though ... along with my will the solicitor has a list of the items we own that shouldn't just be lumped into house clearance when the time comes because they're special for some reason .... looks like I'll unexpectedly be adding the watch to the list courtesy of the knowlegeable Bonesie
