Good Morning M3W Group.
Over recent years we have built up a group of enthusiasts who have become good friends. We enjoy our Morgan 3 Wheelers and equally important is we enjoy the social side of the get togethers we have both here in the UK and Overseas. Lots of us are missing our get togethers, like The Albert Ball meeting, Goggles and Gauntlets and all the other meets and breakfast meets. It is clear quite a few of us are using Zoom to keep these friendships going and it seems to be growing. Having had a chat with Red Leader Chris this morning it has been decided that this Friday at 2000 hrs we shall have an Albert Ball Meeting. This is quite apt given that this would have been the first day of this years event in Belgium.
At the start of the meeting, Albert Ball organiser, Chris Golding will give his welcome talk and give a background to the event and it's future. then Mark Henry will do his ceremony as is normally done at the graveside of Albert Ball. After this the meet will invite anyone wishing to say anything to do so, giving all a chance to speak as they wish. This will be in a controlled rotation to avoid all speaking at once !
Rachel Pitfield has agreed to be the sender of the invites to join the meeting on Zoom with the link needed.
Participation is for M3W ( old and new models) owners only and numbers will be limited. Only those previously attending any of our meets can join in or those intending to come in the future. These invites will be collated by Ian Parkinson and all you need to do is confirm that you wish to attend this virtual meeting.
The second of these meetings will be a Goggles and Gauntlets meet, with a twist, in the G&G spirit. ( details to join in to follow) This will be open to more people.
