Despite the views of the experts notworthy I was a Boy Scout ('Be Prepared' was our motto).

My Upper and Lower Gaiters have been on for two years now and 3000 miles, Made from Waterproofed Nylon, Velcro and a Leather Strap.

When I took them off for the recent greasing everything beneath is very clean while the outside of the gaiters are covered, FROM TOP TO BOTTOM in dryed on grit tumbleweed . Thats good enough for me.

It takes a few minutes to fit them all and a new set will go on at the next greasing.

The Upper Gaiter when first fitted.

The Strap is to keep the gaiter centred when under compression

The Full Gaiter Set.
