Having originally planned to take my Trike to Phil to get my Centa upgrade carried out in his workshop, the Covid 19 restrictions put pay to that. So decided to do the next best thing and link virtual Phil via his You Tube channel to my garage and take the engine out and deliver to Phil following the Covid rules.
I found the instructions excellent, with Phil on hand on the phone when I needed, I got the engine out and delivered without any issues keeping the 2m distance rule when we met.
I have now got the engine back and the remains of rubbers from the drive unit. I was shocked that after only 12,000 miles that one of the rubbers only had a 1/4 of it left, and this is me driving like Miss Daisey after doing the 2019 Swiss trip on my Commando 11 front tyres and still having 3mm left on them.
