I posted a thread about this 2 weeks ago See "interesting History" in the Malvern Arms Forum.. I've been following "Tally Ho" since the project started. Some of the Live Oak came from the Savannah area after hurricane Matthew brought down a lot of trees.

I'm sure he must have known JC Spender, as they were both submariners who joined IBM at about the same time in the 60s in the Finance sector. My Dad told me that at the time he joined the big blue, their head of personnel was an ex-submariner, and that was something he really liked to see on a cv, although he was quite broad minded about any ex Naval personnel, or indeed Army or RAF. A huge raft of ex service people joined the company in that era.
As to Tally Ho, I particularly loved the episode where Leo went down to select the live oak for the frames. What a character the owner of the lumber yard is, with his ingenious home made machinery.
